Widening wheels?

Any local trusted shops do this? I’m in the middle of discussion on buying some 17" gto rims with ET Streets on them… they’re 17x8 and I would like them to be 17x9 or 17x9.5 to fit 275/50/17 M&H DR’S after the ET’s.

I heard people say you can fit a 275 on a 8" rim but I would rather be more safe with atleast a 9"

It’s not a recommended process on cast wheels.

I wanna widen my rest stockers to 11" over the winter, was gonna post this question on svt…

Adam cant you just get an aftermarket set of knockoffs that are wider? I know you can get wider than stock wheels for older Mustangs like mine but Im not sure about newer ones.

I could, but I don’t want cheesy knockoffs.

But most of them you cant tell theyre not OEM from what Ive seen, especially if you use the OEM centercaps and all.

OEM centercaps rarely fit the knockoff wheels, they use a different size. I’m either going to widen the stock ones, or do a Ccw/TrueForged/Fikse wheel come summer time

NVM, while in the middle of talking shipping prices and all that he sold them locally, that blows… I really dont wanna buy 18" DR’s for wheels I put the car in storage with.

no local but they can make wheels wider or narrow if u wanted the “slick and skinny” set up
