Will my 96 teg need a camber kit for eibachs?

i bought sportline springs and tokico shocks… and on my previous cars i could always just get it aligned with out camber kits… How about on this teg? Same story for only 1.7 drop?

you’ll be fine without for a 1.7" drop

I have my car (99 GS-R) dropped about 2" in the front and 1.75" in the back. I used two washers in the rear and put an OmniPower camber kit for the front. I didn’t put a camber kit on the car to start out and the insides of my front tires were shot in about a month. I do a lot of driving so that didn’t help either. After installing the camber kit up front all is fine. If you’re looking for a place to align it, check out Ace Tire in Coraopolis.

i used to run neuspeed race springs(2"+ drop) all the time without a camber kit. its all in the alignment, go get it aligned at Butts in scottdale.

Good to hear! Thanks everyone!

Camber does not eat tires. Camber + toe + caster eats tires.

ive had a 2 inch drop on the neon for almost a year. My tires wear evenly accross. Its all the alignment. Just like everyone else. get it alighed, it should be fine.

the insides of my tires were worn, not the whole tread. if the entire tire is riding mainly on the inside of the tread, that part will wear down faster.

that is true to a certain degree in some extreme cases where poeple lower there civics like 3" or more it doesnt matter what you do the inside of your tire will be toast

and like everyone else said you should be fine i lowered my old 97 civic the same and i had almost 3 degrees of negative camber and i was fine i did do the washer trick on the rear and it helped out a little i think it just made the wheel just look better in the wheel well more then anything

but the alignment is the most important thing try and find someone good i just have mine done at work by this one old guy he does a great job

well, yeah, stupidly slammed cars will have problems. But a 2" drop will have very small wear. My SRT had + camber from the factory  The outside of mine wore faster.
