Hard to justify taking the kids out with slicks on… and I miss the blue wheels. But, as long as theres someone to run, win or lose, I’ll have them ready.
This motor isnt any more powerful… and I hope its as strong, as there are some lesser quality parts… at least by name brand. The biggest issue I am having now is heads… I’d like thicker deck heads… but dammit they cost too much… the bigger issue is the new LY6 block I have requires shorter head studs, and l19 head stud are $500+ bucks and 6 weeks away, so I have to keep thin deck heads and use inferior head bolts unless I find a quick solution.
Well I certainly hope the build goes well with this motor so you can get that car back on the streets asap

Yea, amazing how fast I can bang this shit out once I have all the specs sorted out. Still going to have ~50-60 hrs in it probably when all said and done. Forgot to ask Jay if he wanted me to paint this cage or not…oh Jaaayy

For now , standard gloss or flat back is fine… but please hit with a primer 1st if your gonna do it. Primer is one of those things that is more important than most think! Your doing great adamowski.
I’ll paint the thing eight different shades of pink if you’d like. Oh wait we don’t need another one of those threads! Primer is not 100% necessary on this particular brand of tubing though as it’s acid etched before painting but I will do it regardless if you want it. Should have a majority of this tied up by the time you stop by Weds afternoon-ish and gives me plenty of time to to address the small stuff(FS, clutch, f-hubs, etc,etc)
BTW you mention in that PM you sent me about the parts on the way that you ordered the window net…singular. You do know you need a right side safety net?? Just checking on that so you’re not short parts come June 1st…
