heres the story, i went to esso for a sprey car wash which was free when i signed up for an esso express card. i noticed while i was in the wash, water was leaking in thru my drivers side window near the side view mirror!! so i assumed just the pressure of the water was pushing past the rubber seals and leaked thru my window… but later on that night i went to open my car door, after letting it idle for about 5 hours. i noticed a squiggy rough noise like the sound of rusty metal. i oiled the hinges and nothing… i noticed the rubber around the seal of my door was a bit rough which was probably 99% of the problem.

is there any rubber i can stick ontop of the seal to make the seal tigher to prevent water leak?

and how do i get rid of the squiggy rough sounding door problem for my 98 se?
thanks much appreciated.
p.s. dont go to those drive thru pressure washs, it seemed to have chipped the paint on my car.
