make a long story short, my window broke. and my dad use all sorts of wonderful tapes to cover the damage for a while with TAPE!. wonderful. now that its summer and i have replaced the glass, there are “stains” if you call it that remaining from the tape residue. any coments on how to get the remaining sticky stuff OFF the car without hurting the paint to much?

I find Ronsonol (lighter fluid) works well too.
