anyone know a mechanic that will pass a car with a chip in the windshield…? the chip is smaller than a 1/2" and will literally fit under a dime…i need this vehicle inspected…its my daily driver, and i cant get anyone to pass this goddamn chip!!! Ideas?
just get the chip filled
as long as the chip is not in your site of vision, it should pass.
Most places will fill them for free now and your insurance will cover it without a deductible. Call Ryan’s auto glass and they can explain it more. I hadto get it done on one of my old cars.
as long as it does not affest the drives vision it should pass
