GTS: Best choice evar. Make sure you dont take those york region flex busses when the roads are slick though. Saw them trying to attack a hill last year after a big ice storm and the rear just flies all over the road. MAD dangerous.

Hey guys. what do you guys do about insurance for the winter beater? do you get another policy or can you get one policy which transfers from one car to the other?
I keep one policy. I just let them know that i’m suspending insurance on that car and i want to add another car under the same policy. My company didnt but other companies may charge you a premium for adding another car. And then they adjust your rates according to the model of your car.
Same here. I just tell my insurance lady that I am switching over to a winter car… they understand. (Especially because I’ve insured… 10? cars in the past 10 months with them… due to my business).
I know some are a bit stingier though.
i just switch it over. they’re going to want a safety if i want to insure the 240 again in the spring.
