wow you guys are harsh. I personally think its great. He is young, let him have his fun. This reminds me of my 92 tempo, teal green with yellow flames. This car is probably a better idea then 90% of the cars which are driven on this board. He probably paid sub $500 for the car. He will drive it for the winter, and can still get $200 for it after even if he drives it to the junk yard. Now all you guys that spend 12K on a daily that will be worth 5K in 3 years, now thats smart!

Actually 2300/year for a decent DD is a good idea.
(12k-5k)/3= $2333/year which isn’t bad for a decent daily. Most of us have jobs or self respect that require a certain level of professionalism that would not allow us to drive a $500 dollar beater, much less one that looks like that.

That seems horrible in my eyes considering I have owned somewhere in the area of 25 cars and sold everyone for more then I paid for it. Weird. If you work somewhere that judges you on the car you drive maybe you shouldn’t work there? I mean yah for a 30 y/o it would be “dumb” but he isn’t 30.
Would a corvette with straight pipes be considered professional? Shit I should sell it asap and buy a bmw or something…
