Winter/Track Wheel options

ok, ive narrowed down to two choices, and im really having a hard time deciding

winter tires are 245’s

these are primarily winter wheels, but id like to mount track tires to them when my budget allows, the widest R comp i can get in 19" is 265, but thats 1400 for the set for pilot cups so who knows when that will happen

so here are the choices

staggered matte black CSL wheels in with 19X9.5 rears and 9 fronts

Those LM reps look rather nice

BB5’s are siq. that’s what i’d do. though i don’t know about that as a winter wheel. i’d just throw some steelies on it.

I would switch to stock wheels and brakes in the winter, it probably will cost the same, and will be a much better setup.

x…

CSL FTW

i dont have either… i tried doing that last winter but people want ~4-500 bux for stock m3 brakes, and the wheels would cost me another 400-600

and i already have the 19" winter tires that i got a sick deal on (new blizzaks for 125 ea shipped)

so you bought tires before you got rims?

$500 Winter beater???

i ran my bbs ch’s last year… they were not polished so they did fine, the rims i have now are polished 2 piece and wont do well in teh snow, so i need new ones

can we call you MikeRI5275723-05q1275-042357214376014275 the 2nd?

f that, i do 90% of this crap on my own, rims are the only thing that i am always wishy washy on…

and its not just aestetic either, i dont know if loosing the width will make much of a differance

i love the look of the CSL wheels.

If they are just winters get whatevers cheaper, you already have nice summer rims.
