I want to do a wire tuck to my civic or have one done.I know about rywire and chasebays. Is there any local places that do wire tucks that anyone knows of?
www.innovative-motorworks.com its in central pa but they do a great job
What’s a wire tuck?
hiding as much of the wiring harness as you can from sight. big pita, and a ton of work to do correctly.
Oh. Neat.
:io:
b18ctrb does them
he’s in buffalo tho, you’re not really “local”…
I think its awesome, but a whole lot of work for something not many will see.
Fry this thread is on here:

about how much can one expect to pay for a wire tuck?
not a terrible project to undertake, but definitely one requiring a lot of patience. Cleaned my bay up some last year re-routed wiring and “tucked” some of it.
cool i will have to pm ctr then and see if he can do it for me.My mom lives in cheektowaga so it wouldnt be a problem for the car to be down there
As far as i know b18ctrb doesnt do wire tucks im sure he knows ppl who do but they are probably in canada.
Word.
Smooth that firewall if you are gunna bother with a tuck.
having the guy whos doin the body work shaving it already and also do brake line tuck and fuel filter also.My batt alraedy reloacted also
so your all set er what ?
no i still need the engine and headlight harness tuckd
He did his on his EK (non cf one), n said he might do them for people if he had time
he told me a price, but im not going to say it because i dont know if it’s a “set” price
O word alright i did not know.
yeah me eather , buts it not all that hard to just due both yourself, and save some $ its just extending wires
the headlight stuff you can run down under the fenders, you might have to extend some wires as every car is different, the engine stuff you will have to get a little creative with probably, I was actually contemplating making a hole and bringing it up low on the firewall under the intake manifold area to mask its presence
