i have a laptop with wireless, it connects to the router fine at say 54
then drops to 36

then drops connection, if it turn the wireless witch off and back on, it connect fine and works good for 5-10 minutes… then repeats
and worse, it ONLY does this at home…

Howie probably got to your router at home and you’re in deep shit if you think he’s gonna fix it… 
j/k, try adjusting your wireless channel to see if that makes a difference.
i disabled a bunch of g feautes and extender options in the router and it seems to be working better

mine would do that as well
resetting the router and cable modem made it better.
