Do the speed test again plugged directly into the cable modem.
well how about that…
so im guessing it is the router? what do i do to fix it? i like wifi 
reset the router
update the firmware
try a different cable
reset it. if that doesnt work you can screw with it or buy a new one for $25 or so
deff reset it. unplug it for a few min… i do mine about once a month
