Im rewiring my mass air flow sensor, and Im using a multimeter to measure voltage and discover which of the three wires is power/ ground/ signal. Does the ecu have to be in to be reading a voltage? When I read voltage it gives nothing or very small amounts like 120 mv. Also, the car is in the On position, but not started. Any help would be awesome, thanks.
