i think i am finally going to get some ink. i have wanted sleeves of dante’s inferno an paradise on my arms now for over 7 years but held off. mostly because of money, and some for job reasons. but fuck it. i want them.
now the problem is i cant draw worth a shit, and i cant seem to meet eye to eye with any artist. as what i have in my head and what they come up w/ is not working.
i want the inferno portion to be dark and dreary. i want to be able to see the maggots and insects in the river of styx, the inscription on the gates of hell while the beasts await on the hillside forcing dante into hell, virgils old ass escorting dante, the intestines of mohamand hanging out, the forrest of suicide, etc etc. basically, i want the key focus of each step of hell highlighted, w/ the filler artwork from canto to canto to come from the details in the book.
on the other hand (no pun intended) i want paradise to showcase dantes reunion w/ his love, beatrice. this arm would be in color.
looks like ill just have to get a butterfly and a dolphin

sailor get a hold of me when you are serious about doin it all. you can check out a few friends sleeves/half sleeves and see what you think. I got a really good artist to set you up with that is like minded in the way he draws everything
There is a shitload of work there on his site u can look at. Ive seen some of his work first hand looks crazy thats who will be doing my good/evil sleeve
