I was wondering if anyone has heard of anything simlar happening.
I have a BJII that syncs with an exchange server. During off-peak times I have it set to 30 min intervals. I have two odd issues.
The first is many times I will wake up and all of my meetings have moved ahead an hour. Nothing like thinking that meeting you though was at 8:30 is now at 7:30. It doesn’t always do it, and it gets itself straightened out without any input from me eventually. It is kind of a mystery.
The other one is that some times it doesn’t take my “dismiss” comman on meeting reminders, and it will consntaly bong at me every few minutes to remind me of the meeting I just acknowledged. I have also noticed that when I sit down at my desk and connect w/ outlook, all of the meetings show up as overdue. When I dismiss via webmail I do not have this issue. I’m assuming that when I dismiss on the phone, it must not be sending the command, just treating it locally? Is this normal?
I wonder if there’s an issue with the daylight savings time patch on your exchange server? When they moved daylight savings earlier last year mine used to do that randomly and then correct itself until the normal date daylight savings would have switched passed.
the time issue is a DST patch - have your IT department install it if you don’t have rights… it is sometimes specific per phone.
for the dismissing appointments sometimes a simple reboot of the phone fixes it. I know something with my Q9m it occasionally loses sync with active sync. If a soft reboot doesnt work, pull the battery for 30 seconds.
