Will the event still go on if it’s raining?

Rain, sleet, snow, it doesn’t matter, the event will go on.

I didn’t go to their event at the Glen. I believe that was the weekend I was waiting for new tires (both my dailies and my race) to arrive. I did hear it was pretty bad, but that had like 100+ entrants. They are used to 30-40.
Edit: Although, now that I’ve told people that I’m going to Seneca, I know at least 7 other people that decided to go with, so my plan may backfire, lol.
I’m giving it a whirl because god damnit they had 2… TWO… entrants in AS. This might be my only shot at a trophy this year, lol. (I’m just kidding btw. I don’t care about trophies, but it would be fun to be a little competitive against some new people).
You can drive all the way out to SeAD for 3 runs…or come to ECCN for 5-6 runs…decisions, decisions.

It will stop for lightning.
The BMWCCA event I went to when it was raining last year was one of the best events ever. I got 12 runs in because everyone else flaked out

I’ll be at this one, then novice school and the following event. But then I’m getting married and going on my honeymoon so I’ll miss event 5. Fijian beach >>>> auto-x.

Cassie - don’t you remember what the Glen did at last year’s seneca series? That is the reason why I will never run another Glen event…ever.

LOL. I just found the course map from that event last week…
Marnie - how’s the car coming?
not ready yet. we’ll be in the “STS-SM” integra again this week.
I should probably scan them ALL in at some point… they’re all in my car, maybe I’ll bring them in during lunch today. I actually do need to test our scanner here
I will be there tomorrw.
I will be the guy with the red MR2 with gunmetal wheels and a polished lip. Come say hi so I don’t feel like a stranger.
Also, any MR experienced drivers who are willing to take a run with me and give me some pointers, it’d be greatly appreciated. I still feel like I am not anywhere close to driving near the limits of the car.
Don’t worry - even when you think you are at the limits, you still aren’t

From the guy who hits more cones that anyone else. :roll2:
JayS, I know you used to have a Fiero, any chance you’d give me some pointers while we are there tomorrow?
Sure thing. Mike P > Me though, so if he’s there get him to go for a ride along too. Plus, he had an MR2.
Well that was fun. I seem to have a think for making my last runs 6 seconds faster than my first. Last event I started at 70.xxx and ended at 64.xxx. This event I started at 64.xxx and my last two runs were 58.xxx. :headbang: I’m getting less slow! And I actually got my Jetta to oversteer. :jawdrop:
Today was a fun course. The weather could have been better, but at least it wasn’t a washout. Fun runs were nice and dry though.
That was a real fun course.
And your last run should be a lot faster, because the course was drying out a lot by then.
I would have paxed 3rd if I ran in DS…damn uppipe…
