sorry i wasnt around to look at it today. hopefully we can meet up sometime this week to get some ideas rolling and fix some of those welds.
Thanks bro.
Well someone either stole your car or there is another Red Srt 8 with a front mount out there in WNY.
You didn’t read the thread did you?
Little update on the jeep, replaced a few more worm clamps with T style. Went to investigate why the wideband stopped working. Traced the problem to the O2 being bent and wires pinched against the undercarriage of the jeep. Seems as under load the engine is twisting far enough to slam the O2 up into the undercarriage. Gonna have to remove the upper exhaust pipe and remove wideband from that spot, weld the hole and drill for new bung to be placed somewhere that it won’t hit the underside of the jeep.
I had to cut the heighth of that o2 bung 2 times to fit the sensor in the tunnel. It’s very tight. He is having muffler man weld a new bung down the pipe more for easy access because right now you cannot get the sensor out a the pipe in there. I wouldn’t remove it yet. With the new bung welded in toss another bosh sensor in there and see what the wideband reads. I have an extra sensor on my bench. It was reading accuratly when I was doing wot pulls w him in the pass seat. When we shut the jeep off and re started it the gauge read 7.4. He switched modes and it was back on 14.5-14.7 idle and high 9s at wot and upper teens low 20s on decel after the pull. Which makes sense to me. I told him to Check the manual for the wideband. But yes I agree put another bung in it where it’s easy to get to. This is a good chance to compare his trinity vs my lm2.
I also told him to buy the biggest muffler he can fit for it. Lol

Did the wideband stop working or was it reading 7.4 or 7.5 at all time?

Ps don’t forget the shit clamp behind the rad. I think it needed another 2.5 t bolt there
I guess not.
And putting load on the motor would bring the driver side down and lift the passenger side which would give the sensor more room. Not crush it. Damnit Zac house 2k.
Josh just txt me. He thinks its the brain of the wideband. Does anyone have experience w a trinity wideband?
Damnit Choda you dumb ass when you mash the gas the motor rotates clock wise from sitting in the driver seat hence crushing the sensor :shitfan:
Dammit u right. Fail
Owner just sent me some vids of revving it. Sounds great w the new muffler and he put a new sensor in a new bung in the cross over pipe and his wide band is working as it should.
If he can get a quick retune I will put the 6 psi spring in it wed night.
This thing should haul ass
Thanks guys. Here’s a vid from the owner after the oil fix and muffler and tips on
Looks like a great and clean job. I wouldn’t expect it to be done that fast though as a side job. Props to the quick work!
Thanks. A few hickups here and there was bound to happen… and again i spent over 30 hours that weekend doing it.
We are gonna line him up with Jack to show the difference between Stock and 4psi. Should be a great vid
I’ll have to get the video, I have a buddy with a srt8 as well.
where is the turbo mounted? any pics of the setup?
Rear mounted. Check first page
Do you just look at the most recent post and demand things that are already there?
not demanding anything, also not seeing pictures?
are you looking at page one? there are a bunch of photos there
