Good point. Regardless of the Law, I believe that because it was at a public place it should be admissible…it would be the same as a eyewitness from the bar testifying. Surveillance video is always admissable and this, IMO, is the same.
I wonder what would not be admissible. What if the video was at a private party? Or, at that individuals house. He would have been recorded without his knowledge so I guess it would then be dismissed (?).
