Try driving on I-4. It was, in this order, an 18-wheeler with a full open trailer with cars, 05-06 350Z, me. We were all doing 90. Yeah that’s the normal speed in the fast lane. It sucked when my mom came down and they were only doing 50-60. I thought we were going to get destroyed.

I love driving I-4, it has to be one of my favorite roads in the country.

A bag of coal is $5.15

Last year kept the house at 68 deg. We used 750 gal of oil…Oil was $2.19/gal

So last year’s heating costs were just over $1600.

Realistically I hoping to be around $500 this year. Another consideration, the house temp will be 74 deg this year!

I only have a small wood burner, but if I get a good fire going, my oil furance will only fire about three times an evening and my house stays around 73-74 degrees. And my house is an old un insulated home, even though we are working on that problem…
