i dont know how i feel about this.
I guess it would be a cheap way to fix hail damage. Wood is best left to cars like this IMO.

We saw a Golf with a Jetta front end at H2O that was done in a Hawaiian theme. The seats had new inlays with hibiscus flowers, the rear view mirror was a surf board, and the body moldings were wood instead of plastic. It was really neat.

It’s an overlay over the stock roof… no worries about water. Looks kinda dumb to me.

There was an MG at the September Guptill’s show with a body made completely out of wood.
i think he could make it look really cool if he did a theme with it…as of right now it just looks out of place.
if its real wood then it could be cool, but I’d have to see a pic of the whole car to really determine that.

if he stained it black so it wouldn’t be so noticeable then it would look sweet. Natural pine color against black car looks bad.
