Working but semi broken MacBooks

I have two MacBooks I don’t use anymore. They are broken but work. Debating picking up a new setup at home for development and trading so testing waters on offloading these two.

Screen is broken from something hitting it. It works great in clamshell mode with a adapter plugged in and keyboard. Also would be a great laptop if someone has the time to fix the screen.

Works great and have been using it in clamshell mode with keyboard and mouse on HDMI screen. Display has stopped working. Went into Apple about 6 months ago with it since it is out of warranty. They said sending it in and repairing it was less than $300.

Mostly looking to move to something else and don’t really have the time to deal with Apple or fixing them myself. Open to offers.

So does the mbp just need a screen or is it something else?

The LCD screen works based on the last time they fixed it. They think this time it’s something with the connector or the actual video driver. The LCD screen still is good and isn’t damaged.
