Working in the automotive field?

Ya, I used to be in auto apprenticing for about 4 years, but I decided I wanted nothing to do with cars for a career. Didn’t want to ruin my love for cars by being unhappy in the trade. Right now I’m taking fire protection engineering, and I wouldn’t be able to afford it at this point in my life if it wasn’t for OSAP.

Another example is my younger brother. He graduated University of Ottawa with his bachelors in health sciences solely on OSAP and bursaries(free money). Moral of the story is that you don’t need money from your own pocket to get a higher level of education.

Bing for the win again, I’m at 10g almost even in scholarships. Was it easy and fun, hell no! I pushed myself every step of the way, it’s not that easy graduating with an 85% average but hard work paid off. Now I’m on another scholarship to continue my education and get my degree.

Work hard at school, figure out what you want, and don’t cheap out. You have your whole life to work once you get the right education.
