I worked outside today Poured out 3 Trucks of Concrete
orlando, 103 100 heat index, 100% humidity, beatiful beats the snow!
i stink
stay off of my seats then:D
Im with ya!!!
I survived the day. It wasnt toooo bad because it was so unorganized we had to keep driving all over the place, so we were in the car half the day. My group and I had to merchandise a store and the electric wasnt even working yet so no AC, in a hot ass building where it was actually cooler outside. I am so gross. Theres a launch party tonight in 20 minutes that Im not even going to because I want to shower and wont have enough time. On a happier note, I get to see my mom, who lives in San Antonio. Shes leaving now to drive here, which is a good hour and a half, but Im so happy I get to see her. Shes lived in TX for about 9 years now, and I usually only see her twice a year.
The heat here is a dryer heat compared to Pitt. They think its humid down here, but its not. Half these people have never left Texas to know what humidity is. They need to go Louisville, KY if they wanna see humid. I was there 2 weeks ago for the same reasons, and it made Pittsburgh seem like it had no humidity as well. Houston is real bad with humidity too compared to Austin. So I got lucky in that aspect.
On that note, I cant wait to come home.
Its fun to work in a garage with two fans blowing the hot air around. Working without a shirt on FTW.
ha you know damn well I aint inside
gettin a wicked awesome farmers tan outta all this
Yeah I dont know how you guys do it. One nice thing about Southpointe though is its always windy as hell. So at least theres some breeze, but thats not even a feasible excuse.
Working without a shirt FTW…I wish I could do that but I cant, lol.

hanging drywall in 90 degree weather is death, inside a house with no breeze or fresh air at all
AC has been dying the past week. It was a balmy 83º in here yesterday, today it’s been round 85º.
Getting this installed right now…thank goodness
what brand is that?
edit - Houston is a HUMID ass town. I was down there for work in March and it was in the 80’s and humid. It sucked.
Arco Air…:dunno:
