i was talking about this over lunch today and how intense the moment was when he was in free fall and spinning out of control… then the moment when he enters controlled fall… it was fukking awesome.
I have been wondering what happens to his capsule he went up in…is it just going to float around or come back to earth?
it landed 55 miles from him a couple hours later… he landed 23 miles from where he took off from.
this! Wife and I sat here watching, I figured it’d be cool to see but man when he started spinning then pulled out I got chills. Seriously a cool thing to witness.
He had an emergency chute that would deploy if he passed like 3.5g’s for 6 seconds or something.
