My buddies car ran 7.05 @ 196mph
The car is crazy fast for a 4 cyl. lol They tried to drag at lancaster last
week but had no traction and still ran low 5’s at 110ish mph.

VE head?
Simple setup. Ramhorn manifold. 
Just a good tuner, crew, and 50+psi with a turbo the size of a 13" wheel.

hmmm, looks like the VE head, but I don’t see a distributor protruding from the front?
That’s cause it protrudes from the back, and yes, that’s a VE head. Impressive numbers regardless, considering Mazworks isn’t that far ahead.

what kind of trans is in the datsun? and how is it adapted on a RWD SR?
yeah, its either go fast or turn, not both.
but, it didn’t look like it had that much play in the suspension. the launch was perfectly balanced. thats a very well engineered car.
