Yeah, read that earlier. She paid “4 times book”, which seems low. A buddy of mine has had four of these things. I was actually in a roll-over with him in one… no thanks. Absolutely gutless, and that’s the manual car. They actually made an automatic version.

It’s CNN, what do you expect? Same place that wrote 10 paragraphs about how safe the Smart car is because of it’s NHTSA crash rating, then at the very end put one sentence about, “of course, the ratings assuming you’re crashing into a like sized vehicle and in the real world crashes when a larger vehicle crashes into a smaller the larger vehicle has the advantage”. Well no shit, think maybe you should have mentioned that instead of raving about how safe that little POS is for 10 paragraphs, considering EVERY car on the road is larger than a Smart?

I just sold my CRX DX to a kid this weekend, he was 17 brought his dad with him who took a spin in it with me,I asked him what he thought and he goes “well its not really worth it to me the asking price you want but my son wants it so I guess we will take it”,I said if you dont want it I know I can sell it for more then im asking in a few weeks with the prices rising. Anyway, I am about to get another CRX and throw it up on ebay next time and hopefully make a killing.
