would you buy a car if

it showed it had a wreck on a vin search? its not a r title or salvage. it just shows a minor to moderate wreck with another car in the vehicle history.

i guess? i know my car shows it has minor damage because of an incident in the snow … but it’s in good shape… depends on how much they are asking around the blue book value

max bluebook price

use it against them… F that BS… i’m sorry but MAX bluebook is for cars without damage… no matter how small, if it’s on the report, it’s there… if a wrecked car can get MAX what does a non-wrecked car bring in???

Absolutely not.

If it was in a wreck, that means there had to have been body work after the fact. So unless the entire car was repainted, no. I hate when people have an accident and have one or two panels replaced and the paint doesn’t match. No one can ever get a match perfect. And that would piss me off to no end.

Like my parents had a 1992 Audi 100S, bright Torch Red. Car looked like a solid color for a few years, but in the year before we got rid of it, we started to notice each panel down the driver’s side was faded differently or was a slightly different shade of red on each panel. EW.

I would buy it depending on what it is or how was hit but i wouldnt be paying max blue book price.

Def. wouldn’t pay full price on it. Bring it up and argue it. If they wanna move the car then they’ll go. If it looks ok though (visually) then roll with it. My car will show a salvage title/r-title now but no wrecks on the Carfax, everything else is fine. It’s just about how that stuff happens…

wanna see my car? guaranttee you can’t tell what what done

my car had it’s front end painted… you can’t tell…

roberts auto body :bigok:

the problem is with odd colors that show work… so i’m sorta with you on that.

Hey I’m not saying that it’s impossible, but if everything wasn’t exactly perfect it would kill me. I’m fairly particular about things like that. Definitely definitely definitely would NOT pay max price on anything that has been previously damaged.

didnt buy it … between the wreck and it eating tires (thought front end alignment was the problem) i decided to stay away … i wouldnt spend full price on something 5 years old and wrecked at one point. got my 1000 deposit back and they had to eat the cost for the tires and alignment. i won’t be going to greenwood chevy ever again. it was a 2 owner car the guy that boutgh it new and th car lot that i was buying it from… they should have known.

hannibal… stop buying chevy’s… kthxbye
