But in all seriousness, it’s almost just as bad hearing about pets being caught in a house during a fire as it is to hear a person, because they are so danm innocent and you know they tried everything to get out.
Take your friend and his girlfriend in, and try to keep their minds off the tragedy as much as possible. I really hope the best for them!
