So this weekend is Rally Spain…

Will Loeb be able to hang with Gronhom? Will Solberg’s bad luck continue or will he prevail?

What about Hirvonnen, who has shown some good speed in the first couple of events, but has run into problems that cost him a possible podium position…

Being a tarmac event, I’d expect a bit less attritionin Spain than what we’ve seen at the first three events. I’d like to see Loeb, Gronholm and Solberg all battling it out for the top spot.

My prediction:

  1. Gronholm
  2. Loeb
  3. Solberg

  3. ?, but not solberg - Subaru has been far from great this year, way too many problems. what was it the sweden day 1 or 2 and about 6km into the race they broke an axle? If it wasn’t for solberg, subaru wouldn’t have anything in the top 8

Atkinson has been improving, Subaru’s problem is definitel not the drivers though/

Solberg was plenty fast in Mexico, it was really only his tires that let him down. The power steering failure wasn’t a terribly big deal, he was able to continue fine when that happened.
