It may be painted like a rally car, but it looks like it is setup for smooth tarmac…

Those are the radiators. The IC is mounted up higher to shorten the piping. The rads are lower to keep the weight of the water lower and get added coolant capavity from longer hoses. I can’t wait to see underhood pics to see what else they tweaked from 2005
there are also cooling benefits to mounting it at an angle like that.
The Grill looks more like a wire mesh on the wrx car, which is nicer than the consumer model which has thick plastic now. The 04 and 05 had the wire mesh too, it is much better than the plastic. Hopefully the new design hels the car out a little bit, Solberg is getting crushed lately. They are supposedly doing a complete redesign of the car in 07 so we’ll have to see whats in store.
