Well, MY insurance company said that the police determine who is at fault. The COP told me that the insurance company determines who is at fault. HER insurance says they haven’t determined yet who is at fault. So who knows what the fuck is going on. :dunno:

The car will NEVER be the same again, get it totalled if you can. Watch it that insurance companies will try to cust costs to not have to pay the full price.

Well, I just had to do a recorded statement… I faxed the lady @ Erie insurance a copy of the police report so that she didn’t have to wait for it, and she said “I just have to determine if we are going to accept liability for this” which is bullshit, and once they realize that it’s their client’s fault, I can get a rental car… then they decide what to do with my car, and because there is a possibility of a total loss, they have to send out an appraiser IN ADDITION to the Auto Body giving them an estimate… 
If they don;t accept libility I;m calling a laywer, and our insurance company and that stuipd bitch will not have a job working for erie anymore. especially when it was in plain black and white…

sorry to hear the misfortune. Insurance companies are weird. The guy that hit me and totalled the prelude out at Carlisle had some insurance from up in NY. Took them over a month to get me my check, but they paid for the 3 rental cars that i went through in a month. State Farm was just fucking awesome about it. They had someone out there to look at the car, and sent me a check within a week, and it wasnt even my fault. They didnt give 2 fucks. I called them up and was like “uhhh, im not sure how this works, but shouldnt the other company have to pay?” cause I didnt want it to make my insureance go up, and they just told me I could do whatever I felt like… :dunno:
Ended up waiting for the other company, and they gave me $7,500 for the prelude, which is about what I paid for it 2 years and ~35,000 miles earlier.
I’m sorry but when the cop states on the police report " Operator 1 failed to yeild at stop sign and attempted to make a left hand turn" and it has a drwing of the scene. Then states in a seperate part that Operator 1 Violated vehicle code 3323 B (I think that was it) and was not cited. That should be balck and white enough to show that eire’s customer is A FUCKING IDIOT!
I will have to say I used to have statefarm and they were fucking me roally when I had them and first got my cav (320 a month) but I was hit from behinde about 8 moths after I got it and I took it to jimmy. Well less than a week I had my car back after the accident no problems no bullshit. Maybe they like fucking their customers and not who their customers hit :dunno:
If the accident just happened today, i would settle down and rest. Things never get resolved the same day of the accident. Don’t rush it. Cavi’s don’t have frames per say so if you bent the unibody it would be in your best interest if it was totalled. cars like that are never the same, water leaks, wierd noises, etc etc…
mike, take it easy on her, accidents happen, cars can be fixed or replaced, you can’t fix a dead wife.

not looking for a check don;t need one since JD autobody is a DRP service station for Statefarm and Erie. this is exactly what I went though when I was hit with state farm but had no problems.
go out and rent her a car. Once Erie decides that they are at fault (which is sounds like they will, pretty clear cut case…), they should reimburse you for your rental car, and continue to pay until your car is fixed/replaced. Do you have the rental car option on her insurance? If so, then your insurance company should cover it, and then they would be reimbursed. Either way, rental car is probably the way to go…
Problem is I’m at work now and I’m not sending her there to get a car with out me because I’m not going to let them take advantage of her (which seems to happen all the time when it involves cars and Jenn). So basically Erie better get on the ball by tomarrow so I can get her a rental.
If they total it, you can gurentee if I owe any fucking money afterwards Lucifer will be fucking afraid of me. :squint:
Yeah, and they will probably give her a hard time since she’s under 25. A lot of places wont rent at all to people under 25 unless there is a wreck/insurance involved. Probably because of people like me. I went through 3 rental cars in a month. :embarassd
