Yeah, we have over 40 cars damaged in the storm… including customer cars and inventory.

Jesse Clark and I were at Watkins Glen in the Nascar Garage Paddock deal when it began… there was literally millions of dollars of cars in the parking area…that didn’t have time or room to get into the garage. Theres nothing quite like watching the owners of a brand new Aston Martin or Ferrari press there face against the garage glass and stare as the cars received a healthy helping of marbles sized hail.
Luckily, for most, the damage wasn’t existant… but in a metal garage with 150 people and 60+ cars, there were a lot of prayers and …to be honest, laughs going on. It was rather surreal.

99% of the cars damaged at the Glen were the thin-sheet metaled Jap cars.
i was doing 60 down the highway in the civic when the hail was coming down and my car doesnt have a dent! it was def bigger than a marble size… not really sure if it was ping pong sized… but either way the teg is still locked up safe in the garage. the only thing i gotta worry bout is dust accumulation
I got 2 quotes on my car $3800 and $4500…insurance adjuster is coming monday. Really blows…because it’s like you can’t see it if you don’t look for it but if you do…it’s definitely there.
That sucks man, make sure to take it somewhere reputable, have em wet sand it all nicy nice, will look better than it did stock.
