It was real snowy last Friday night in Rochester and I couldn’t see that there was a curb in the parking lot by the bank I stopped at. Nailed it, ripped a sidewall. I should probably get my alignment checked now too.
Anybody got 1 or having a mid-season clearance or anything like that? What’s a good place near the Town of Tonawanda to get my alignment checked?
Meh, I’ve got a bit of a thing against Goodyear. I got fawked by the company that does their credit card while I was in school. That company had very shady and underhanded practices (misrepresentation by the goodyear salesman at the store, then lying, random fees showing up on the card with no explanation but removed as long as I called every month, making blatant mistakes and trying to make me pay for them.) Aside from the initial mistake made at the store, I know that the company is a 3rd party, not Goodyear, that I had the bad experiences with but nonetheless Goodyear chooses to do business with them. I actually got the supervisor at the credit company to hang up on me at one point. I kept calling her out on their bad/wrong/illegal practices and she got so frustrated she couldn’t take it anymore. Ever since then I’ve vowed not to do business with Goodyear anymore.
That whole mess started at the NFB location. My fiance’s mother has had shady dealings with the one on Camp in Hamburg. Brought her car there with a problem, they charged her, problem wasn’t fixed so she went back, then they claimed to have no record of her having been there. Something like that anyways, to the effect of denying she had already been there for something even though she had.
So, yeah. I’m sure Sean’s a good guy and I’m sure there are people who have had good experiences with Goodyear, but I’m not one of them. I won’t do business with Goodyear anymore.
