WTB: 1g or 2g awd dsm

Im looking for either a 90-92 1g awd or a 95 awd. Must be a 5speed and dont mind any color except red. Looking to spend 4500. Thanks

why a 95? just curious cuz they have the highest rate of crankwalk issues which is why im assuming you want a 90 to early 92 1g.

I have a blue 90 tsi awd 5spd that I will be selling in the begining of next month.

prob so he can get past the nys emissions, 95 and under does not have to be uploaded to nys

:word:

Who in their right mind actually keeps the seven bolt anyway???

Does DSM link eliminates the ispection issues? i know it would work with my TA and LT1 edit but having an OBD1 sensor in an OBD2 car no shops would touch it and told me theres nothing i can do

The 95 ecu is obd2 compliant but the first year of testing for codes on inspections is 96. The 95 ecu with link will work in all 2g’s and has even been ran in evo’s. With link you can shut off ecu checks and set readiness flags. No problems with nys on link in a 2g.

Yea there is no problem using dsmlink but its let of a hassle period with a 95 due to the fact they dont take as long to check the car over. Id take a newer one just prefer the older back bumper over the newer one. Plus I need a car asap

hmmmmm so tempting to offer mine up, but you would need a little more cash,

pm for details

need a car soon

I’m looking to sell my GVR4 if you are interested in a DSM sleeper setup. Depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for a tweaker car that’s 80% where it needs to be to run 12’s or a dedicated reliable daily driver?

actually 97 had the highest crankwalk rate.

I wouldnt mind a gvr4 but the problems that the majority of them had with the rear ps lines and brake lines kind of keeps me away. Nice cars but they seem to rot faster then the 1g’s

I already converted it to a front PS only with the 1G crossover lines and I replaced all the hard brake lines to the rear.

Let me know how much and more info. Thanks

I’ve got a 90 shell you can have for $450

Yea that really doesnt do me any good.

pmed psi let me no if interested

The good:
Leather Interior is in beautiful shape
All electronics ( besides power antenna ) works (stereo, sunroof, etc).

The bad:
Hood is rusted through at front corners.
Bubbles of rust at fenders
Trunk pull lever in car works occasionally
Has race motor in it with high compression so may have starting issues if not run regularly.

There’s tons more than what I listed including the 6AN fuel system, 190 lph fuel bump, K&N fuel filter, spare parts, etc.

All this for $3k. No I am not kidding. That’s the same price I can part out all the goodies for. I just need to get this out of the garage and move on. But if you are looking for a truly all weather dedicated daily driver, this isn’t it without a bit of work and maybe some backtracking. If you are looking for a kick ass sleeper platform that is 80% of the way to a pumpgas 12 second car and you aren’t against putting some work in, then this may be for you.

PM if you want to talk.

Sick fucking deal!
