as title says, i need a .223 varmint rifle. call me 361 2999
I didnt think an SKS fires a .223 round.
its a 7.62, but still a good varmint round
Nato Rounds FTW
buying rounds in bulk >*
Both the .223 and 7.62 are readily available and cheap enough, In a shit hits the fan situation both are still good rounds… the US military relies on the .223 for their M-16, and many ppl here in the US use the .223, the 7.62 will be more available in a world situation though… but since we are looking at varmint shooting, either would be good… you can get a pretty decent cheap SKS, or can go with a stamped AK if you aren’t looking for super reliability.
.22mag .223 is a bit strong for varmints
how bulk?
theres a gun store in batavia that sells em in boxes of 100 for cheap
.223 has a longer range
I would take a .223 over a .22mag anyday. I doubt the gopher really cares how big his exit wounds gonna be.
ive used a .223 on woodchucks all the time, it works great.
I’m not planning on starting a war or anything, so that should be good.
Been watching that show Jericho too much. Makes me want to bulk up my end of the world supplies a little.
right on main street, Its either kens shooting supply or barrets, big brick building cant miss it.
