Looking for an oil cooled only precision or garrett 35r. Gonna boost my M3. Let me know what you have. I want a .8 exhaust a/r ratio.

You’re not going to save much money by using a non W/C center section, just plug the holes.
I don’t think ang GT series turbos come w/o watercooling.
Well i was thinking that most oil cooled only turbos are journal bearing. Thats how i will save some $. I dont need a ball bearing turbo. Journal will suit my needs just fine.

Mines just a t3/t4 57 trim i dont think thats what hes looking for.
i know you know your shit, but thats a horrible recommendation, the ball bearing turbos need water lines ran to them if not they will destroy themselves as they are made to get cooling from the water and lubrication from the oil, whereas journal bearing turbos are made to handle the higher oil pressure needed to be cooled and lubricated by the oil
sc61 is a great turbo but there are many many variants of it
i would go with the 35r though if you can afford it, spool up as well as transient response is much better then the sc61 although they can make similar power levels
