Well i was thinking that most oil cooled only turbos are journal bearing. Thats how i will save some $. I dont need a ball bearing turbo. Journal will suit my needs just fine.
i know you know your shit, but thats a horrible recommendation, the ball bearing turbos need water lines ran to them if not they will destroy themselves as they are made to get cooling from the water and lubrication from the oil, whereas journal bearing turbos are made to handle the higher oil pressure needed to be cooled and lubricated by the oil
sc61 is a great turbo but there are many many variants of it
i would go with the 35r though if you can afford it, spool up as well as transient response is much better then the sc61 although they can make similar power levels
I have a BRAND NEW 35R .82 exhaust id be willing to let go for a good price if anyone else was interested.
Also a brand new tial bov and used tial wasegate for good prices
