Hey Guys.
I’m looking for one of these 5v sirius adapters for the car cigarette adapters. Not a 12v one, sirius had to make the new ones 5v, and an adapter is impossible to get.
I bought one on ebay, but the fucker shipped me one with a one foot long cord on it.
The oem cord is like 5-7 feet.
If they are hard to find, just splice some wrie in to lengthen the cord.

Yeah I did that man.
I cut the wire, and its like a cell phone charger, has two wires inside that are very very thin. Probably 30 guage or more.
I soldered the wire to some extra wire, and the unit powers up, but now I’m getting ground loop noise thats making me crazy.
Both wires are insulated with heat shrink, and electrical tape, and i’m still getting the buzzing.
Now I’m pissed because I have this 13 dollar charger that I bought, and cut up, and it still doesn’t work, and i just want the oem one, lol.
Ahhh, damn. That really tiny wire.
