BDR, what make / style are they ? condition ? price ?
my240 - 1) thanks for the lead 2)yes they are, and they are still in the car was thinking about yanking them this week so i could start setting the v6 in there
Ebay FMIC, not a good idea. They are a low density turbulator core which makes for weak heat transfer even at that size. A similar Garrett core is good for 900. I wouldn’t expect that one to be good for 350.
any suggestions on an intercooler that is good for 600hp, and offers a good quality/price compromise?
i know a bunch of guys (using said ebay fmic) have reported charge temps withing 10-30* of ambient on similar setups over on ls1tech (same engine / turbo / hp level)
I Have Oil Temp and Trans. Temp Guages in a custom pod made out of sheet metal, it looks very very good, cannot tell it is hand made, holds both guages perfectly. Guages never hooked up therefore they are brand new… Autometer Ultra-Light guages… the only thing is they are the larger size guages i dont know if that matters to you or not… i believe they are 2 5/16
i must have typed LC-1 because i was wondering what parts tom still has from the eclipse, and he had the lc-1. i definantly know that the aem uego > the lc-1
because of the experiences with mine…we installed it, and calibrated it…but it did not come with the LED it was supposed to come with, so when calibrating its a guessing game if it is ready or not. the whole calibrating thing is just a major PITA. not only that, but the software for it that comes with it is out of date, and you have to download a new version right away. on top of that, the software was giving me major problems and would not connect to the unit to adjust the changes. then once i made the changes, it would not keep them. i also could not get the sensor to log at all, no matter what formula i used it simply would not create a voltage other than the fact that it was on.
We then borrowed alex’s(somedude) AEM UEGO while his car was down to tune, and it had WAY less wires (only three vs. the LC-1’s 7), you didnt need to calibrate it, and the forumla was so simple a caveman could log with it.
