This will also be something I use as a daily once my 240 comes back from the shop because I don’t think it’s going to be a comfortable daily driver after being built up.
Cars I’m particular intersted in, if you have or know anyone that might be willing to sell any of the following I’m very interested:
Must be 5 speed and engine must be solid. minimal rust preferred, must be able to pass safety unless its something like exhaust or brakes - I don’t want to have to do any body work to pass a legal safety unless its something I really like.
My budget depends on the car. Not interested in any “sedan”-style cars, please dont even bother offering me accords, altimas, etc. Willing to pay anything from hundreds to several thousand depending on what vehicle and what condition it’s in.
honestly good luck finding a 4x4 commanche. Let alone a 2wd commanche that isnt beyond rotten :P. If you are looking for 4x4 I reccomend a cherokee. I just picked up a very decent fresh cherokee 2door 5 speed for $400.
Yea a lot of what I’m looking for I don’t expect to find necessarily but they are around. My girlfriends neighbor has an extremely nice 4x4 jeep commanche. I’m in love with them after seeing that one all the time.
Yea, I’m trying to find something a little different in most cases - at least for me. (crx or escort might not be different but i have a funny love for them most people probably dont understand hehe)
I’m going to own everything in that list eventually hopefully as i’ve got a different mini-plan for each.
