there was no pilot bearing in the crank. this wore out the input shaft. you had to hear it grind. it ground the first shift out of your driveway.

meh, no big deal. I got a new trans for 25 bucks, the bell housing already swapped over, but now i need to find an SR pilot bearing before i can reassemble it.

thats weird. I know i’m an idiot for not making sure it was in there, but it never once grinding on me. I had no way of knowing.
