If you want to lower your car on the cheap just use ebay, you can get what you need brand new for under $500.

Tokico HP shocks/springs are $350.
DropZone crap is $250.
Camber stuff is like $150. You don’t need LCAs.

HAHA!!this kid thinks there is an easy cheap way to do everything…thats why i love this response so much!

thats ghetto as hell and your car will ride like shit if you do that!! you wanna do something!! do it right

hey bald one…i never said i want to go 11.05’s in the 1/4, i never said i want a jaw dropping show car…sooooo if my goals for my car arent insane…there is a cheap way to do things…cheap does not always mean shitty either…sorry im in college and all my money i make over the summer i cant spend on my car…so what i’m saying is i dunno why you have to comment “kid thinks theres an easy cheap way to do everything”

easy there killer…u will soon find out if you think you can afford to do it half assed the first time what makes you think you can afford to do it twice? And believe me i understand what its like to not have money and still have ambitions to build cars, I have been reading a lot of your previous posts and it seems like you change you mind quite a bit on what your goals are. My advice to you is quit wasteing everyones time by making wtb threads since your not going to buy anything anyways. Figure out what you want to do and just buy it! :dunno:

Exactly, do it once, do it right. I turbo’d my b16 swapped eg8 last year and i’ve spent so much more time over the past winter redoing things i half-assed last year just to get it done because it was my DD at the time.

I will tell you the best bang for the buck set-up i’ve come across, PM DRflickner on honda-tech.com…i paid $575 shipped for my k-sport 36 way adjustable coilovers, and they are $685 shipped WITH the k-sport rear LCA’s.

I will tell you by experience right now, forget camber kits, if you NEED one the car was either wrecked at one point or something is bent. Since all you seem to be concerned with right now is simple looks and a little better handling, a camber kit would just be a waste of money for you. All you need is to set your ride height and have it aligned, they should be able to compensate for negative camber with a little positive toe to not wear tire unevenly.

With the money you saved by not buying camber kits, BUY rear LCA’s (lower control arms) i will guarantee atleast one if not both of your lower strut bolts will seize up and snap off in the bushing of the control arm, and unless you are doing this in a shop it’s going to be a GIGANTIC pain in the ass. The other plus side to buying control arms now is the fact that they provide provisions for mounting a swaybar if you decide to get one in the future.

Good Luck.
