Without a flow bench I would say that is a bad idea, unless you just plan on cleaning up the casting marks which is usually not worth the time spent in the HP/torq gained

on a serious note, i agree with the above unless you just want to try it out and see what its all about.
You can easily mildly port a set of aluminum heads, smooth out around the valve guides and gasket match the intake ports, to make some solid gains. Just don’t go hog wild on them. Try to find a bit that has a wider cut, because the aluminum will clog up a bit made for steel.
