WTB Mtn bike

Looking for a decent “Mountain” bike so i can get my fat ass in some sort of shape. Not looking for a super badass rockclimber or something- just a decent bike that isnt gonna cost me a ton either. If ya have something and looking to get rid of it shoot me some pics and a price. Thanks.

I’ve got a really nice pacific outback 26" bike that is basically brand new.I bought it back in 2000 and rode it twice. The area I live in isnt the best for biking due to heavy traffic.

It was $200 new when I got it at target,it has shocks on the front, lightweight everything.Whole bike probably weights about 15lbs.21spd.I know the frame is only 7.5lbs.

$100 or b/o,i’ll get some pics up if you’re interested.

I have a Murray “ultra terrain” 15 speed mountain bike, it is nothing fancy and I have not used it in about a year. I brought it out gave her a quick wash and tested her out. Breaks and shifts fine, I filled the tires with air since they were half way flat after sitting for while and are holding fine. There are minor rust spots on the front rim and else where but nothing that impedes its ability. I used to just use it on a local bike path, never took it off road much. Seat and handle bars are both adjustable if you need.

Bought it for $150 years ago

Asking $60

:bsflag: There is no way this bike weighs 15 pounds… Bikes that cost 10X don’t even weigh 15 pounds.

How much are you expecting to spend. Mine is a 2005 Trek 4900 with disc brakes. Only about 50 miles on her. No scratches. I could let it go for $550. Very light. 24spd

15lbs bike? I don’t know about that. That is super light.

I’m sure you can find one outside a local store or on a campus somewhere. Hell, they probably won’t even miss it.

LOL great idea!

I have a buddy of mine who says he has a 04 GT he doesnt want might be free otherwise, ill definatly get back to you guys! thanks!
