So my brakes are almost gone on my 91, and I am in need of replacing them.
I am still new to the scene, and I have seen all these Q45 & J30 setups and stuff, if they can fit 4 Lug, by all means I would be very interested.
New or Used.

you can use q45 or j30 calipers with 4bolt altima or sentra(00-03)se-r rotors. you can re-drill any 5bolt rotor to 4bolt as well, and use z32, r32 etc brakes.
What setup is most recommended ? The car is not being tracked, just a daily driver.

If its just a daily driver why spend the extra on upgrading? The stock brake setup is fine. Go to crappy tire and grab new pads and rotors and your done. If you plan on trackin later on upgrade when needed. Dont go spending money you dont need to be spending.

My thoughts exactly. I would like to do the Q45 upgrade…but thats later on. Car still needs other maintenance stuff that needs to be taken care of 1st.
cheap china pads and rotors will last 1 year of spirited driving… that’s why you can outfit all 4 corners for $80 of China.
get good pads and a decent set of rotors and they’ll last longer and provide better stoppiness…
I have an almost new set of Raybestos metalic S13 abs pads .
This is from years ago when I had an S13.

But right now, I have no stoppiness whatsoever and I need some stopping power temporarily until pockets are deeper for an upgrade.
