that’s just not the truth. i have a buddy that works at apple autoglass who does them for me for about that price and he makes like $10 after purchasing the windshield, trim, etc at shop cost… and i have to go to him.
Mobile auto glass dont have overhead other than a vehicle/insurance and a cell phone to pay for. Ive seen it done for 120ish on newer cars all cash but your looking to spend between 180-240 average threw a glass shop. Mobile guys dont normally warranty their work either.
all i rmermerb is back int he day wehn i checked how much it cost to replace the windshild on my kouki it was liek 400 for the windshiled and then another 500 for the trim
