TIA

you can get aluminum lug nuts off ebay but the weight loss gains are totally insignificant. Titanium nuts will NOT be stronger then steel. I believe you are wasting your time with this… better off getting coilovers or aluminum calipers or lighter rims to drop unsprung or rotating weight.

lol.

How do you figure?

I think (The problem herin lies there) that Skunk2 sells them…

this place can custom make them for you ur thread size is 12x1.5mm if u didnt know

this place has forged aluminum lugs that weigh .75oz each

LOL. I don’t need the titanium nuts. The car is in stock class, so we can’t fool around with coil-overs or much else. Besides, if you haven’t seen the car go on a stock suspension, you should.

Just trying to locate some for Dale’s wife, so she can buy him a Christmas present

That would be me a while ago.

oh i have seen it go many times…it doesnt need anything

i thought that it was stronger mass vs mass but not 1/2" plate vs 1/2" plate or something like that.
got any good links?

i know its more “brittle” than steel, but i doubt that would be an issue here.

Steve wasnt asking for a tech thread he was asking for a place to get titanium lug nuts.
Lets try and NOT have this forum turn into UBRF.

Go to evasivemotorsports.com thats where I got my extended Volk ones from

fine i will split the thread if it gets too tech for you. heaven forbid we have some tech on the forum.

edit, if i see 1 more ubrf reference i am going to go ape shit on someone.

When you are the only ITR at Nationals w/o titanium lugs, then you’ll understand…

wouldnt that make you stand out as the better driver because you are there and didnt take advantage of loop holes in the rules?

I didn’t see any titanium lug nuts on Evasive. Any other suggestions?
