From reading it seems that any 4cyl transmission will work, so let me know if you have anything that works.

ill keep my eyes open for you. The mkII transmissions will deff bolt right up if you are talking about the aba 2.0 but i believe you will need a different flywheel, im not 100% positive though. I had a mkII trans in my mkIII and the only big difference in 5th

I have a MKII, so from what I read, any will work. The 16v will have a higher ratio.
