Mr.Skinny – I’ll need one two.
Let me know what you find.
Alternatively, I’ve got a buddy coming up to visit in December from Philly. If we do not have a local option by then I’ll order a few and have him drive them up.
Why Westco?
Get another local sealed battery.
Anything for a Miata is the same size weather it be motomaster or an optima.
optima doesnt have one that size (unless i messed up the search on their site some how) and im not interested in a motomaster to replace the motomaster thats shitting on me now.
any suggestions/prices?

appears to be the same as the famed WestCo battery, it is made by East
Penn Manufacturing Co.
I should have been more specific.
I ment the Motormaster Spiral Cell, It’s made by Exide who make Optima’s,
all other sprial cell batteries and 90% of regular automotive ones.

If you are looking for a small battery to fit IC pipes in, why go this route.
Relocate it with an optima sealed cover:
Comes with sick brass posts and a nice cover.
No need to vent it or have a box for it.
thanks for the suggestions i’ll check out the motomaster one. i didnt want to have to rerun all my audio back in to the trunk otherwise i wouldve gone optima for sure. plus this is much cheaper.
What would you have to re-run?
If you have aftermarket audio I would strongly reccomend staying away
from a small battery, or run two, one up front and a large one in the back.
how much for that battery?
Oh man, I cant remember but not cheap…
The battery and cover are seperate.
i just have a simple 5 ch amp and subs. u think this tiny batt would be enough juice?
not really…
Mine was fine, i had a small racing battery prolly even smaller then that miata one. Although its now taken a shit on me at 1.5 years. I need to get something small to fit in between the fmic piping.
but then did u have any audio?. im getting some shit from the states so i was thinking might as well get this batt sent along with it to save on shipping. 85usd is reasonable. thats how much a walkmart motomaster would cost. optima is like double that and id have to run it to the trunk for sure.
I can get you an even smaller racing battery for $160. Warm crank amperage is 1400A, cold must be around 500CCA. Let me know, i can fit two of these batteries beside my fmic cold pipe in my s14.
