^^^^all this. Tell you what I’ll swap you my jimmy for the season and I’ll drive the sti for the winter for you. Seems fair to the car to me.
Drive it in the winter. It has AWD.
I drive my LGT in the winter, and that has a shit ton of mods, a Cosworth motor, and has spent several hours on track during the summer.
The S4 has AWD and I don’t drive it in the winter. It’s not that it isn’t great in the snow, because it is. It’s because it doesn’t move (broken)!! LOL. But really, I’d just rather not drive it in the winter. Greater chances of fail all around. Someone could hit you.

Try Craigslist? Civics make wonderful beaters.
