Devin (FuzzyFish) came over today to have a look at the truck, and we drained the oil to find metal filings in there, so he said it sounds like rod bearings. He also recomeneded checking the crank to make sure its ok. so, i need a hoist to raise the motor up a bit and get the oil pan off. I also have LITTLE TO NO IDEA what im doing, so people to help would be good. I will provide food and beverages to those who help. As Fuzzy said, the truck is exceptionally clean underneath, so taking stuff apart and putting it back together should be fairly easy. i’d like to do this over the weekend and get it done, but when i actually do it will depend on when i can get people to help and an engine hoist.
